Estimado Público:
”You never get a second chance to make a first impression”
Do you know who this quote belongs to? Yes? No?
Wilde, the great Oscar Wilde (as usually happens).
It´s probably that most of you already suspected it but you have been going on just to check it. Maybe you did not and wanted to Know… In both cases you are welcome.
If you are wondering why we have chosen this quote to introduce ourselves, let me answer: It sums up the tingling facing the premiere of TEATRARIO, our dramatical adventure.
It´s too soon to know the balance between bravos (claps) and tomatazos (boos). The “respectable”, the “indomitable”…THE PUBLIC will have the answer.
Perhaps you -the one in the third row next to the central aisle… Perhaps you are one of many who had to read “The importance of being Ernest” (in an awful adaptation for kids) in school…and you have never thought about reading theatre (or going) again. Time or motivation?
Hey you, the one in the back… the man in black who slips into his set… You can not scape, the lights are pointing you!… Even you are one of those who has seen and Known everything… maybe…a critic?
Have you noticed those teens at the top balcony? Let´s have a look at their t-shirts messages: “Born to be Wilde”…
And now, you, lady (please, be careful, do not choke on a candy. Keep calm, this is not that kind of theatre you go as a school activity…Here, you can dance, you can shout. Play all the stories you like.
